If you can’t wait until one of our roasting nights (Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) for fresh roasted coffee?Want to save some money and still enjoy great coffee?A little like the “Day Old” section in a Bakery. But not even close to the bargain bin of, beyond the “sell by date” in the grocery store.
We will take coffees off the Pre Roasted Coffee listings if they are still there after 3 weeks. Coffee is still considered fresh longer than this by many of the bigger roasters. Any coffee we take off the Pre Roasted Section because it is over 21 days since roasted will be donated to a local food shelf.
I have read that the “mermaid logo” (Starbucks) coffee company let’s ALL of their coffee “rest” and “de-gass” for 2 weeks before it is loaded onto the trucks for delivery to another regional warehouse, before it is trucked again to a retail store and ends up on a shelf for sale. How fresh can that be? Consider this when you purchase coffee from this section!
