Coffee Sock Pot

Manual Drip Brew Coffee Pot
with a
Reusable Cotton Filter
Most countries of Central and South America use a similar brewing method like this, for their most common brewing method at home. I know that Brazil uses the sock filter. I have a Brazilian Sister Inlaw, Katia. I can remember seeing Katia using a filter like this, while visiting my brother in Brazil. The brewing method was different than we use though. She would boil the coffee with sugar added to the water and grounds, so it was like a coffee flavored simple syrup, then pour the coffee through the cotton fiter.
Watch for a video of brewing coffee with this new Coffee Sock Pot!
I will try to get Katia to do a Brazilian coffee making video with this new Coffee Sock Pot and put her video on the site too.
