Our Coffee Barn
Importing Espresso Tampers
We have started to Import Espresso Tampers directly from a manufacturer in China. This first order is a test market order, if sales are good we will buy them in larger quantities. Please Inquire if you would like to buy them in larger quantities (5 or 10 of each color and size), if we get enough inquiries we will place a larger order, turnaround time is about 30 days from us wiring the money to our receipt of tampers.
Here is a short description and some pictures of the sample tamper we ordered. I loved the way it felt in my hand while I used it, and the American curve seemed to pull a pretty good shot too!

Espresso Tampers, Flat Bottom and American Curved Bases
Polished Aluminum, Rosewood, Black, Red and Blue Handles

Notice the convex curve of the base in the bottom right picture, this is what we are calling the American Curve. Here is a closeup view, that is a glass topped counter it is setting on.

The pictures seen here are of the sample tamper we ordered before we placed our full order. We are Importing these tampers directly from China, our first order is kind of small, but if the tampers sell well we will buy them in larger quantities. We are hoping for the full order to arrive by Sept 15 2009.

This coffee was produced with the help of Slow Food International. A Presidium, or an organized group of producers, was created in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala with the help of Slow Food. Today, the Presidium consists of 170 small growers who are organized through local cooperatives in three different communities: San Pedro Necta, La Libertad, and Todos Santos Cuchumatán.
The Presidium producers work to protect both the health of the local environment and the well-being of the producers and their families. In addition, producers are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of the coffee they produce, and educational workshops and technical training help to give producers a better understanding of the factors that affect the quality of coffee.

Wow! Awesome. Thank you. We’re redoing our kitchen and everything is boxed and the place is a wreck. That said, our coffee pot and grinder are plugged in on the screened porch and we have access to our Coffee Barn beans! Kind of nice to sit on the porch and enjoy a nice cup in the AM.
Have a good afternoon.

Paul from US Roaster Corp sent me a software update to fix some minor flaws in the program of my profiler. I got it installed OK and the roaster is up and running just fine!

I turned 45 today and to celebrate, we are having a special on two of our blends on the Wholesale Store! Raging Bull Espresso Blend for the dark roast fans and Farmers Morning Blend for the lighter roast fans. Both can be used as either a drip brewed house special or as an espresso blend for the espresso based drinks or as straight espresso.
Here are the coffees listed in the Specials Section of the Wholesale Store. The prices are valid for the rest of August.

Thank you, Barb.
I appreciate the credit but you didn’t have to do that.
Your usual shipping procedure is just fine w/ me. I don’t often panic, but being w/o GOOD coffee beans will send me there fast. I share my ‘stash’ w/my 80 year old mother. We both think your product is the best thing since sliced bread…or ground beans, as it were!
Thank you again, both for the great coffee we enjoy daily, and the great service you’ve given us.
Sincerely,
Chris
