Veterans Day Road March
I will be joining a few local veterans and supporters on about an 8 mile road march tommorrow. It starts at 0930 hours sharp rain or shine! A great day is forecast
Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. South wind between 8 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
I will be taking pictures and video with my phone and uploading to Twitterberry and Twitvid, I am testing the phone right now.
Here is the start of the march with the 2nd and 3rd grade classess with us.

Please Remember the Veterans!I am a veteran and VERY proud of it! Active Duty Army: 1985 to 1990 MOS 11C (4.2 inch Mortar) I was in Germany when the Berlin Wall came down. Recalled for Operation Desert Storm Jan 91 Wisconsin National Guard 1991 – 1999 Currently I am the Sgt of Arms for my local American Legion Post #227 Our local Veterans Day activities include a Veterans walk on the World War 1 Veterans Memorial Highway. I will be making the walk and taking pictures and possibly interviews with fellow walkers that I will upload with my Blackberry to Twitter and my Facebook page, they will also get fed to Our Coffee Barns blog! Panama BoqueteWhile I was in the Army there was a quick deployment to Panama, most people have forgotten such a small operation with everything going on in the world today. I got to be friends with a soldier who earned a Silver Star in Panama, he saw his squad leader get killed while jumping in, he took charge of the mission to destroy the anti aircraft guns and completed the mission with no further losses to his squad!
