New Roasting Schedule
We are now roasting 3 days a week!
Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Pete fires the roaster up as early as 5:00AM so orders must be in by 6:00AM to
assure your order will get onto that days schedule.
For large wholesale orders of multiple 25 pound batches of coffee we will roast these orders as we receive them and I have time to roast them.
All Fresh Roasted Whole Bean coffee will be shipped the same day it is roasted. This may exclude very large orders of over 500 lbs if we are very busy. All fresh roasted coffee will be shipped by the next business day at the latest.
All are coffee is packaged in resealable valve bags.
Here is a video of the new USRC 12 kilo roasters first batch of a day, on auto roast.
I will be shooting more videos of the new roaster as I get time.
Fresh roasted Arabica coffee beans from around the world, roasted in small batches, bagged in the new zip resealable valve bag and shipped the same day roasted, always within 24 hours of roasting to ensure you are getting the freshest coffee possible. We roast all of the varietal coffees to what Pete calls perfect point roasting. What this means is each variety of coffee has a point of roasting that gets the optimal amount of unique flavors of that coffee. This is the perfect point of roast that is our goal at Our Coffee Barn. If you would like a darker roasted coffee I would suggest one of our blends, Espresso Blend, Sunrise Blend or the Raging Bull blend. At Our Coffee Barn we buy only the best, coffee beans we can buy. We buy only the current crop available, no leftovers from last year! Pete cups every batch of coffee he roasts before it ships. My Importer also cups and cups and cups and cups before he buys any beans, so rest assured that you are only getting the best coffee for that price. I can’t figure out some of the pricing though. Why does an excellent Mexico Chiapas cost so much less than a good Guatemalan? What I am trying to say is that the proof is in the cup. Not the price or the looks. Look at how ugly a great Sumatra Mandheling is but how awesome it cups! We are trying to carry a country themed blend selection. It’s almost as much fun naming these blends as it is developing them! I have a favorite of my wife’s blend to offer. It is actually the oldest blend of coffee in History. Mocha-Java This is a GREAT coffee, the funky earth tones of Yemen Mocha go great with the brighter clean Javas. Our Farmers Morning Blend is one of our versions of a breakfast blend roasted to a medium roast and it has a very inviting aroma to wake up to! Our Raging Bull is a dark roast coffee lovers coffee. We took a Brazil, Ethiopian and a Sumatran and roasted them to a dark roast and Wow! Truly not for the faint of heart. Our Latte Espresso blend is incredible! Great as a straight Espresso or I LOVE it in a Cappuccino! Or in recipes. Give one a try!
