A picture of the coffee warehouse at Cafe Imports, where we get almost all of our coffee from, a short drive away.  We are trying to make coffee runs every 2 weeks, but my trailer is now at it’s limit for weight, so I may have to make coffee runs weekly, if I want my trailer and transmission to last!  I can’t wait for a loading dock.

Here is a view of our coffee roaster, it is a 12 kilo US Roaster Corporation coffee roaster. This roaster has a computer controlled roast profile system (a PLC) onboard, and also connected to a laptop computer.  The computer is where we edit and store the profiles.  When I have the roasting schedule I transfer the proper profiles to the roaster.

We buy 99% of our green coffee beans from Cafe Imports in St. Paul MN, we buy our Kona direct from Makapueo Farms. Cafe Imports has extremely high quality standards and they undergo a very rigorous cupping program before they purchase ANY coffee as well as an ongoing cupping program to ensure that same high standard is kept throughout the storage time in their warehouse.
